GENERAL ELECTION

Official Election Information Mailed to Voters

Today, the Sacramento County Department of Voter Registration and Elections (VRE) has mailed the first official postcard containing information about the upcoming November 6, 2018 General Election. The postcard was mailed to more than 747,000 Sacramento County residents.

Beginning the week of October 8, 2018, every registered voter will be mailed their official ballot, ballot return envelope and a list of all Ballot Drop Box and Vote Center locations.

Voters can return their voted ballot by mail, in any Ballot Drop Box or at any Vote Center in Sacramento County. Voters may also vote in person at any Vote Center in Sacramento County. Ballot Drop Box and Vote Center hours and locations are available on VRE’s website at www.Elections.SacCounty.net, in the County Voter Information Guide to be mailed in October, or on the SacVote App. Residents are encouraged to complete a new registration form if their name, address, or signature has changed by visiting www.registertovote.ca.gov.
