Presidential Primary Election Update

Sacramento County Prepares for Logic and Accuracy
Testing for June 7, 2016 Primary Election



Sacramento County Elections announced today that logic and accuracy testing for their voting machines will begin on April 27, 2016 and run continuously until completed.

“Interested parties can observe our testing of each machine for accuracy in the tabulation of votes,” says Registrar of Voters Jill LaVine.  If you are interested in viewing this procedure, please contact Alice Jarboe (916) 875-6255 for the schedule.

Key Election Dates

May 23 – Last day to register to vote in the Presidential Primary Election. Voter registration forms must be mailed (postmarked by this date) or delivered to the Elections Office, 7000 65th Street, Suite A, Sacramento 95823.  Online voter registration must be completed before midnight on this date.
May 31– Last day to request a Vote By Mail ballot be mailed to you for the Presidential Primary Election. Call (916) 875-6155 for information.
June 7 – Presidential Primary Election. Polls are open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.
