SENATE DISTRICT 1 SPECIAL GENERAL ELECTION UPDATE

Sacramento County Prepares for Logic and Accuracy Testing
For State Senate District 1 Special General Election

Voter Registration and Elections begins logic and accuracy testing for voting machines Monday, April 22, 2019. Testing will run continuously until completed. If you are interested in observing this process please contact our office.

Begin mailing Vote by Mail (VBM) ballots to voters. VBM ballots are available at VRE Office at 7000 65th Street, Suite A, Sacramento

Ballot Drop Boxes open in Senate District 1 Areas in Sacramento County
​May 20
​Last day to register to vote for Special General Election
​May 21
​Conditional Voter Registration (CVR) period begins and runs through Election Day
​May 25
11-Day Vote Center location is open for this election
​May 28
​Last day a VBM ballot can be mailed to you. After this date, VBM ballots are only available at the Elections Office or Vote Centers
​June 4
​Election Day – Additional Vote Centers open. All ballots must be received or postmarked by 8:00 p.m.
