SENATE DISTRICT 1 S​PECIAL PRIMARY ELECTION UPDATE

Vote Center Opens for Senate District 1 Special Primary Election


Voter Registration and Elections will open the Brookdale Vote Center for the March 26, 2019, Senate District 1 Special Primary Election at 780 Harrington Way in Folsom on Saturday, March 16, 2019. The Vote Center will remain open continuously during regular business hours from March 16, through Election Day. Two additional Vote Centers will be open on Election Day. Election Day hours for all Vote Centers are 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. 

Voters wishing to return their mail ballot still have time to use a Ballot Drop Box. Visit the Ballot Drop Box​ page on our website for more information on locations. Please check the times of these locations carefully. Each Ballot Drop Box location has specific hours of operation. Those preferring to mail their ballot may use their pink postage paid envelope that came with their ballot. Mailed ballots must be postmarked on or before Election Day and received by 5:00 p.m. on Friday, March 29, 2019. Voters must sign their ballot envelope in order for their ballot to be counted.

​Last day a Vote by Mail (VBM) ballot can be mailed to you. After this date, VBM ballots are only available at the Elections Office or Vote Centers

​March 26

​Election Day – additional Vote Centers open. All ballots must be received or postmarked by 8:00 p.m.​
