If, for any reason, you feel your voted ballot would not reach our office by mail by 8:00 p.m. Pacific Daylight Time on Election Day (May 19, 2009), you may fax your voted ballot to the Sacramento County Elections office at (916) 876-5597.

You must be aware, however, if you return your voted ballot via fax transmission, your vote is no longer secret.

If you do choose to return your voted ballot via fax transmission, you must also complete and sign the "Oath of Voter Form (Fax)". The ballot cannot be counted unless accompanied in the same fax transmission by this oath and your signature.
